Authorize an Importer campaign payment
Review the immutable amount and open secure hosted Checkout with the required authority.
REVIEW
Any authorized organization member may view the payment record. Confirm the campaign reference, quantity, original transaction currency, immutable amount, exact UTC deadline, Supplier, and current provider status.
AUTHORIZE
Only an Importer owner or admin with authentication from the last ten minutes may open hosted Stripe Checkout. Campaign Checkout currently accepts cards only.
Payment-action notifications go to active Importer owners and admins. Members may review the payment record, but they do not receive this action notification and cannot open Checkout.
Amount and currency come from the server-owned commitment and obligation snapshot; they cannot be changed in the browser. No additional buyer service fee is added by this flow.
UNDERSTAND THE TWO WINDOWS
The current payment window is 48 consecutive hours from creation of the obligation—not two business days. Follow the exact UTC deadline on the authenticated payment record.
Each Checkout session lasts no more than about 24 hours and never beyond the payment deadline. An already-open session can be resumed. If it expires, creating a replacement requires at least 30 minutes remaining in the payment window.
SUPPLIER READINESS IS RECHECKED
Every attempt revalidates the Supplier’s exact connected Stripe account and current card-charge readiness. If the payment remains open but Stripe does not launch, ask the Supplier to refresh Supplier → Payments and contact Support with the PAY reference.
VERIFY THE RESULT
Returning from Stripe does not prove authorization. ImportersDeals changes the lifecycle state only after a signed, verified provider event. A successful authorization is a temporary card hold, not escrow and not final collection.
Do not retry repeatedly while the page is synchronizing. Refresh the authenticated payment record and contact Support with its reference if provider status remains inconsistent; never share full card details.
