Fix verification document upload problems
Resolve file type, size, metadata, expiry-date, and revision-lock errors.
ACCEPTED FILES
PDF, JPEG, and PNG are accepted one at a time. For reliable server validation, keep each file at or below 10 MB.
SIZE NOTE
The file picker has a 25 MB hard ceiling, but the current content validator applies a 10 MB acceptance limit. A file between those limits may pass the initial selection and still be rejected when the server validates it.
IF AN UPLOAD FAILS
1. Check that the filename extension matches the real file.
2. Re-export the document as a standard PDF, JPEG, or PNG.
3. Confirm the file is complete, readable, and no larger than 10 MB.
4. Add a current expiry date for licenses, insurance, certificates, and authorizations.
5. Make sure you are editing an unsubmitted draft revision.
The validator compares extension, declared type, detected MIME signature, byte size, and checksum. Submitted or In-review revisions are immutable, so their evidence cannot be removed or replaced. Wait for a Changes requested draft or contact Support with the application reference.
