Understand campaign access and invitations
Know why a campaign is public, business-only, or invite-only.
AUDIENCE TYPES
• Public — discoverable by anyone who otherwise meets delivery and participation rules.
• Private business — requires a signed-in member of an active Importer business or the Supplier team.
• Invite only — the Supplier team retains access to its own campaign. An Importer business requires an active, unexpired invitation for the exact workspace unless that workspace retains historical access from an earlier commitment.
HOW INVITATIONS WORK
Organization invitations can be managed only while the campaign is Open and its commitment deadline has not passed. A Supplier cannot invite its own workspace.
Each invitation targets an exact active Importer workspace by its stored ID and slug. It is a workspace grant, not a transferable email permission: every active member of that Importer workspace receives the same campaign access. Removing a user’s active membership removes that user’s access without transferring it to another workspace.
An invitation never overrides destination eligibility, campaign state, verification, payment readiness, capacity, or other commitment checks.
EXPIRY, REVOCATION, AND HISTORY
If an invitation is revoked or expires, new discovery and participation are blocked. A workspace that already has commitment history retains direct access to the campaign and its own receipt or operational record so the existing transaction can be followed.
Historical access does not authorize a new or changed commitment. Current audience, invitation, delivery, option, capacity, and business-authority checks still apply to any new participation.
