This notice applies to ImporterDeals websites, business workspaces, authentication, notifications, support, and marketplace features operated by ImportersDeals Corp..
ImportersDeals Corp. is the controller of personal data used to operate the platform, administer accounts, secure services, and manage our business relationship. Organizations using ImporterDeals may separately control personal data they upload, export, or use outside the platform.
This is a business platform, but business contact information can still identify a person. We treat it as personal data when applicable law does.

Where data comes from
- Directly from you when you register, configure preferences, participate in a deal, communicate, or request support.
- From your organization, its administrators, colleagues, counterparties, or invited service agents.
- Automatically from browsers, devices, cookies, logs, and security systems when you use the platform.
- From providers supporting a feature you use, such as payment, identity, verification, sanctions screening, email, push, or hosting providers.
- From public registers, government lists, company websites, and other lawful business-information sources.
Why we use data
We use personal data to:
- create and secure accounts, restore sessions, confirm identity, and maintain workspace permissions;
- publish and operate deals, aggregate commitments, display progress, coordinate counterparties, and maintain transaction records;
- process payment instructions, refunds, billing, and provider reconciliation where those features are offered;
- deliver in-app, email, and mobile-push notifications according to saved preferences;
- verify businesses, prevent abuse, investigate reports, screen risk, enforce policies, and protect users and systems;
- respond to support, exercise or defend legal claims, comply with law, and improve platform reliability and usability.
Depending on the context and applicable law, our legal bases include performing a contract, taking requested pre-contract steps, complying with legal obligations, protecting vital interests, pursuing legitimate interests in a secure B2B marketplace, and consent where required.
How data is disclosed
We may disclose relevant personal data to:
- your organization, its authorized administrators, and users in the same workspace;
- deal counterparties when needed to evaluate, form, fulfill, support, or dispute a business transaction;
- an independent shipping, warehouse, or service agent when your organization chooses to engage that provider;
- payment, verification, hosting, database, security, communications, support, and professional-service providers acting for us;
- authorities, courts, advisers, insurers, or affected parties when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, or legal claims;
- a buyer, investor, lender, or successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Marketplace visibility is contextual. For example, a supplier may see the business identity and commitment information needed for its deal, while unrelated organizations should not receive that information.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process data there and in other countries where participants or providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from your home jurisdiction.
Where law requires a transfer mechanism, we use an available lawful safeguard appropriate to the transfer, such as contractual protections, an adequacy decision, or another approved mechanism. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including active accounts and deals, transaction evidence, support, fraud prevention, backup cycles, audits, legal claims, and regulatory or tax recordkeeping.
Retention periods depend on data type, sensitivity, business context, legal duties, limitation periods, and whether deletion would compromise security or the rights of another party. We delete, anonymize, or restrict data when continued identifiable use is no longer justified.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the data and platform risks. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about categories, sources, purposes, recipients, and retention.
You may also have a right to appeal a denied request, complain to a data-protection authority, or receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right. We do not currently use solely automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about users.
Submit a privacy request
Some information may be exempt from a request, including data needed to complete a transaction, protect security, preserve another party's rights, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and effective date and provide additional notice when required.
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to contact@importersdeals.com. You may also write to ImportersDeals Corp., 1201 North Market Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, United States.
